Ankara to Sivas Train Guide
Eastbound by high-speed train
The Ankara–Sivas corridor extends YHT service east from the capital. It offers a rail link between Ankara and Sivas, with the actual calling pattern determined by the selected TCDD Taşımacılık service.
Plan both station ends
Confirm Ankara YHT Garı as the departure point shown and read the full Sivas arrival information. Consider how you will reach the Ankara station and how you will continue from Sivas station after arrival.
Verify before travel
Use current operator information for schedules, availability, classes, and ticket conditions. General route descriptions cannot confirm that a particular service operates on the date you need.
- Check the travel date and train number.
- Read intermediate stops if they matter to your plan.
- Keep the ticket and required identification accessible.
Search Sivas, not a nearby destination
Select the Sivas station offered for the YHT journey and confirm the final stop on the actual result. A train on the Ankara–Sivas corridor should not be assumed to stop in Kayseri or provide a through journey to Cappadocia. If you are continuing east or changing to a mainline train, check the second service separately.
Compare available departures for the same date and passenger mix. If a result is missing, check the station choice, booking window and current operator notices before concluding that the route is suspended. Include the journey from Sivas station to your address in the arrival plan.
Read the corridor, not just the region
The operator’s Ankara–Sivas page lists Ankara Gar, Kırıkkale YHT, Yozgat YHT and Sivas as route reference points. The dated result determines your train’s actual stops. This corridor is not a rail service to Göreme, and a station in the wider region is not a substitute for a confirmed onward connection.
